The Robert T Jones Memorial Scholarship
The Bobby Jones Scholarship was established in 1976 by friends and family of Bobby Jones and since then has supported over 400 students and built a worldwide network of Bobby Jones alumni. The Scholarship is one of the most prestigious available to students at the University of St Andrews, covering all mandatory costs for recipients to spend a year studying abroad at Emory University, Atlanta. The programme draws its inspiration from Bobby Jones himself, providing scholars with a generous travel stipend and actively encouraging students to embrace opportunities presented to them during their year abroad, embracing Bobby Jones' passion for personal growth and development.
This Scholarship is not only about the experiences gained whilst at Emory, it is also about the connections made across the globe and the enduring "Bobby Jones Alumni" network that has a strength and willingness to support and help peers, like no other.
