A short summary of The project
St Regulus Hall Committee is raising £500 for the planting of a memorial tree to honour the beloved memory of former St Regulus Hall resident and St Andrews student Finlay MacDonald. Many at St Regulus Hall knew and were friends with Finlay, who was a cheerful, reliable and compassionate young man as well as a bright student. St Regulus Hall would be delighted to honour such a stellar person.
Where will the money go?
Upon raising our fundraising goal, St Regulus Hall will be able to work with Estates in planting a memorial tree (Sorbus Aucuparia (Rowan)) in St Regulus Church Garden along with installing a commemorative plaque in Finlay MacDonald's honour. If we fundraise additional funds, those will be contributed to Student Mental Health and Wellbeing.
